… a christian university society

We are a christian university society with christians from different faculties and christian confessions and denominations. We exchange views on our faith and encourage one another to live life based on the model of Jesus Christ as well as sharing everyday life.

As we would like to give you the possibility to think about the Christian message in context of college and university, we organise group evenings with different topics, events with university lectures giving talks and the opportunity for you to ask questions in this context.

SMD means Students Mission Germany. SMD Leipzig is part of Hochschul-SMD, a network of christian students societies in more than 80 cities all over Germany. Hoschul-SMD was established in 1949 and since then has been connecting christians at schools, colleges, university and career.  The key motto of SMD is: “think. believe. experience.”
